Asher’s Chocolate Co. and Conshohocken Brewing Co. have come together once again to produce a seasonal beverage: Asher’s Chocolate Imperial Stout.
The two Montgomery County companies have collaborated to produce the limited-edition beer, which was released on Friday, Dec. 20.
This is the third time Asher's Chocolate Co., a family-owned manufacturer of premium chocolate and confectionery products, has partnered with Conshohocken Brewing Co. to launch a limited-edition brew.
Asher’s Chocolate Imperial Stout “celebrates the rich, indulgent flavors of chocolate in a silky stout, perfect for the winter season,” the companies said in a press release announcing the release of the beer.
“We love collaborating with Asher’s Chocolates to bring creative flavors to life,” William Livingston, brand director at Conshohocken Brewing Co., said in a statement. “This year’s Chocolate Stout is the perfect blend of our brewing expertise and Asher’s chocolate artistry. We can’t wait for everyone to try it.”
Asher’s Chocolate Imperial Stout is crafted with a blend of roasted malts and Asher’s premium cocoa, and boasts a “velvety texture and a decadent chocolate finish,” the release stated. This collaboration, the companies said, was designed for beer and chocolate lovers, and highlights the shared passion both companies have for high-quality, locally crafted products.
“We’re proud to continue our partnership with Conshohocken Brewing Co.,” Chester Asher, marketing director at Asher’s Chocolates, said in a statement. “This collaboration is a fun way to merge our love for chocolate with their passion for brewing, and we’re excited to share it with the community.”
In the fall, Conshohocken Brewing and Asher’s Chocolate Co. collaborated on an October release of their Chocolate Orange Porter. The two companies began their partnership in the summer of 2023 when Conshohocken Brewing opened its pop-up beer garden at Asher’s.
The Asher’s Chocolate Imperial Stout is available on draft and in cans at all four Conshohocken Brewing Co. locations: Tap Room Conshy, Tap Room KOP, Puddlers Kitchen & Tap in Bridgeport, and Rec Room in Phoenixville. Four-packs can be purchased at select beer distributors across the greater Philadelphia region or ordered online for shipping within Pennsylvania at ConshyExpress.com.
