• St. John's (Hain's) United Church of Christ, 591 N. • St. John’s Gernant’s Church (A Federated Congregation), 13 Gernant’s Church Road, Ontelanuee Township, will worship Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in the Memorial Hall. Starting on Sunday, the church will be celebrating Christmas in July, collecting new, unused, unwrapped items for Bethany Children’s Home in Heidelberg Township. • Reformation Lutheran Church, 3670 Perkiomen Ave., Exeter Township, continues the celebration of its 75th anniversary with the return of two sons of the congregation, the Rev. William Shafer and the Rev. Kristian (K.C.) Kohler on Sunday. Shafer grew up at Reformation in the 1950s and retired from active ministry in 2009. Kohler grew up at Reformation more recently and is a doctoral candidate at Boston University. Kohler will preach at the 9:30 a.m. worship service. A reception will be held in the parish hall following the service.
• Calvary United Church of Christ, 640 Centre Ave., Reading, will feature vocalist Kathi Fry, mezzo soprano, at its 9:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday.
