READING HOSPITAL FOUNDATION

Five Berks County professionals have been added to the Reading Hospital Foundation’s board of directors. Brian Boland, Esq., Dr. Anthony Donato, Kristi Gage-Linderman, P. Sue Perrotty, and Douglas Tieman will serve four-year terms on the Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports Reading Hospital through contributions that make vital projects, programs, and services possible.

Brian Boland is a lawyer with Kozloff Stoudt and concentrates in estate planning/administration, educational/municipal law, and business law. He serves as solicitor and special counsel for eight school districts and several townships, boroughs and authorities. He was previously active on several non-profit boards and served as the president of the Northeast Pennsylvania Cystic Fibrosis Foundation board of directors. Boland currently serves on an advisory committee for Albright College’s Total Experience Learning and the Governor Mifflin Business Council. He also volunteers at the Hope Rescue Mission and is a member of the Berks County and American Bar associations.

Dr. Anthony Donato is an academic hospitalist and the vice chairman, Department of Medicine, at Reading Hospital. His interests in healthcare disparities led him to join the hospital’s volunteer Street Medicine team, where he leads teams that provide medical care to the unsheltered individuals in the community. Donato is a professor of medicine at Drexel University School of Medicine and was recently granted Master status of the American College of Physicians. He also served in the United States Air Force.

Kristi Gage-Linderman is a third-generation business owner and the chief operating officer of Gage Personnel - Staffing, Search and Consulting. In this role, she helps to build the local workforce, connecting employers and non-profits with talent in multiple sectors, and investing in training and education initiatives. and supporting the community through community work and board service. She currently serves on the Berks County Workforce Development Board, Berks Business Education Coalition Board, RACC Foundation Board, Greater Reading Chamber Alliance GRCCI Board, the Literacy Council of Reading-Berks Board, and the TempNet National Staffing Association Board. She is also a champion for the Career Ready PA Coalition through the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

P. Sue Perrotty, a retired bank executive, has served as CEO of Tower Health since February 2021, providing executive leadership to all aspects of the health system. She is a distinguished Berks County volunteer who previously served as chairwoman of the Berks County Community Foundation's board. She was a member of Our City Reading and served as co-chairwoman of the Olivet Boys & Girls Club's Capital campaign. Perrotty has also been recognized as an Outstanding Philanthropist by the Association of Fundraising Professionals' Berks Regional Chapter. She co-chaired Albright College's Crossing Boundaries campaign, which raised more than $43 million. Perrotty is currently the chairwoman of the Olivet Boys Girls Club board of directors, and she is an advocate for mentoring young professionals, helping them to thrive in their professional careers.

Doug Tieman has worked for 40 years in the substance-use disorder treatment field and currently serves as CEO and President Emeritus at Caron Treatment Centers. Prior to this role, he served as president and CEO of Caron for more than 26 years. Under his leadership, Caron developed a full continuum of care for substance abuse treatment for teens, young adults, adults, older adults and their families. In addition, Caron elevated its leadership in sponsoring research in substance use disorder treatments and outcomes, advocating for ethics and standards, and participating in national conferences on substance use disorder and recovery. In 2021, Caron established the “Fran and Doug Tieman Center for Research” to conduct cutting-edge research related to the understanding, prevention, and treatment of substance-use disorder. Tieman serves on the boards of Tower Health, Alvernia University, and Satell Institute, ARCS Health and the STAR Network Foundation.

“Our new members are wonderful additions to the Foundation Board. Each is community minded, committed to giving back, and will contribute fresh, new ideas to strengthen our organization,” said in a statement.

BARLEY SNYDER

Barley Snyder has announced the recent addition of attorney Reilly S. Noetzel to the firm’s partnership group effective Jan. 1. Noetzel was elected in September 2024.

Noetzel is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group and the Construction, Environment, Land Use, and Municipal industry groups in addition to being a licensed title agent. He represents clients in all aspects of their real estate transactions and developments with a particular focus on condominium and planned community law, land use and development, construction and regulatory matters as well as leasing. Noetzel started his legal career at the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General before transitioning to private practice with Barley Snyder in 2017. He earned his law degree from Maurer School of Law at Indiana University Bloomington and his bachelor’s degree from Franklin & Marshall College.

A Lancaster County native, Noetzel serves on the board of directors for the Central Market Trust and the Penn Manor Education Foundation. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s House of Delegates and is active with the Lancaster Bar Association. Noetzel also serves as the ethics committee chairman for the Building Industry Association of Lancaster County and is a member of the Community Associations Institute’s Keystone Chapter. In addition to his organization affiliations, he has served as an adjunct faculty member for Messiah University and frequently speaks on a variety of topics in the community association, real estate, zoning, and land development sectors.
