Eight teams, including the top-ranked Berks Catholic boys team, are in the top five in District 3 boys and girls power rankings after Thursday's games.
Berks Catholic (7-2) is the top ranked boys team in Class 4A with Eastern York (8-1) second and Big Spring (6-1) third.
Three Berks teams are ranked third in their classes.
In boys, Wilson (7-2) is third in Class 6A, and on the girls side, Oley Valley (8-3) is third in Class 3A and Wyomissing (8-1) is third in Class 4A.
The Wyomissing girls are defending District 3 champions in Class 4A.
The other Berks teams ranked in the top five are Antietam (6-4, fourth) in boys Class 3A, Wyomissing (6-2, fourth) in boys 4A, Brandywine Heights (5-6, fifth) in boys 3A, and Conrad Weiser (8-2, fifth) in girls 5A.
